The Miss Forget Me Not Pageant was held Saturday February 20, 2010 at the UAA Arts Building Recital Hall.
Special entertainment was provided by Miss Forget Me Not 2009 Eden Barrington, Miss Forget Me Not Outstanding Teen 2009 Angelina Klapperich and Miss Alaska's Outstanding Teen Veronica Temple.
Eden performed the operatic aria "O Mio Babbino Caro" by Puccini.
Angelina performed a dramatic piano piece composed by Jeanine Yeager entitled "Fantasia!".
Veronica performed a new song she composed last Sunday entitled "Walk After Me".
The new Miss Forget Me Not 2010 is 19 year old Katy Lovegreen.
Katy performed an Irish treble reel dance for the talent portion of the competition.
The platform issue Katy has chosen for her year of service is "Speak Out: Promoting public speaking and debate programs for youth".
The 1st Runner-up was 24 year old Michelle Wilkins.
Michelle performed a lyrical dance to the song "More Than What Meets the Eye" written and performed by Veronica Temple.
Michelle's platform is "Encouraging Youth Involvement in Extracurricular Activities".
A Miss America Organization Outstanding Teen pageant for girls between the ages of 13 and 17 was held in conjunction with the Miss competition.
16 year old Carolyn Layne was crowned as Miss Forget Me Not Outstanding Teen 2010.
For her talent, Carolyn performed a hip-hop dance choreographed by Gage Harvey and Stephan Grantier of the Underground Dance Company.
Carolyn 's platform issue is "Autism Awareness".
